Jacques Cousteau himself said that British Columbia has “the best temperate water diving in the world, and second only to the Red Sea.”

What can you see in BC? Giant Pacific octopuses, wolf eels, six-gill sharks, soft corals, huge cloud sponges, and immense red sea fans. There are plenty of shore-accessed dive sites in places such as Victoria and the Sunshine Coast. More advanced divers will want explore a circuit of shipwrecks through the BC Wreck Trek Passport.
