  • Jan 23, 2024: “Kimberley is a great family resort with varied.terrain. The problem is RCR treat the resort like the poor relation. When the lift burnt down RCR got huge support from the community and how does it repay that by failing to invest. Many of the black runs can’t be skied because it looks like nobody bothered to brush cut. Flapper, magma , comet are in an awful state. In addition it looks like they haven’t got the grooming equipment to groom any black runs like Tamarack, Notre Dame , Flapper. As a result the joy of Kimberley for experienced skiers isn’t there. Come on RCR invest in this resort and give something back to the community of Kimberley whose local hill it is.” 0
  • Mar 16, 2023: “Lots of different runs were so much fun! I did not love that they closed down the ski hill to people who decided against the Covid vaccination as that was extremely discriminatory, but the mountain itself is great!” 1
  • Jan 29, 2023: “KAR is a wonderful ski area with excellent terrain for all ability levels.. the glade skiing is outstanding, great fall lines and no lift lines ... night skiing is the best I have ever experienced off the NorthStar Quad lift nearly 2000 ft of vertical... staff is very friendly.. take a free tour with a mountain host to get orientated... ” 2
