The Stanley Park Railway is one of Vancouver’s most popular attractions, welcoming over 200,000 visitors per year. Situated on a site cleared by Typhoon Freda in 1962, the two kilometer track travels through the forest in iconic Stanley Park. Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun relaxing ride in a replica of Canadian Pacific Railway Engine #374, famous for pulling Canada’s first transcontinental passenger train into Vancouver in the late 1880s. The railway hosts events for Easter, Halloween and Christmas and is open for the summer from end-June through Labour Day.
