Chilliwack is located 100km/62mi east of Vancouver in the Fraser Valley via the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1).

The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours. Coming from Seattle, Washington to the south, it's a 2.5-hour drive of 213km/133mi. The nearest Canada-US border crossing for Chilliwack is at Abbotsford/Huntingdon/Sumas at Highway 11, just south of Highway 1's Exit 92.

The easiest way to get to and around Chilliwack is by car, as this rural community covers 100sq mi/259sq km. There are four major car rental agencies in Chilliwack. Roads are well-maintained, although drivers are encouraged to exercise caution in snowy or icy road conditions.

Bus and Public Transportation

Greyhound Canada offers bus service to Chilliwack, with numerous daily arrivals and departures. The Greyhound bus terminal is located at 45745 Luckakuck Way, near the Vedder Road Overpass at the Trans-Canada Highway.
