Big White and Sun Peaks

Pack everyone’s bags—the littles, tweens, teens, parents, and grandparents—and be sure to bring sunglasses. You’re headed for Big White (3,435 skiable acres) and Sun Peaks (4,270 skiable acres), the largest destination resorts in BC’s Thompson Okanagan region, where frequent blue skies, Colorado-style snow, expansive terrain, swift lift systems, family-friendly base villages, and heaps of slopeside lodgings make multi-generational ski vacations a win.

At both, expect a mix of cruisy boulevards, bump runs, and pitched glades, plus plenty of terrain-park fun for the kids. Off-slope activities including easygoing eats, gourmet tapas, outdoor skating, Nordic trails, fat-biking, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and more.
