Nestled in the Columbia River Valley between the spectacular Rocky and Purcell Mountain ranges lies the Columbia Wetlands Outpost. Many of us call the Columbia Wetlands a living natural treasure because of it’s role as an essential eco-system, home to hundreds of animal species. What we also know is that the mighty Columbia River slows as it winds through the wetlands, setting the pace for us and all who seek respite here. Guests at the Columbia Wetlands Outpost have an opportunity to experience a magical adventure, a chance to pause and soak in something that is eye-wateringly beautiful, exciting yet profound. Whether you prefer to explore endless tributaries, at your own pace, in a canoe/kayak/SUP or simply float gently down the Columbia on a guided catacraft tour is your choice. Stay with us for several days to experience even more of our beautiful surroundings at the luxurious Columbia Wetlands Outpost Lodge, or unique Columbia Wetlands Outpost Tepee and Timber tents.

Radium Hot Springs
You’ll be soaring in style on our 7 Zipline Canopy Tour geared up with our top quality equipment. The first 6 lines take you zig-zagging across the Dry Gultch Valley. Line 7 is the longest and faster line of the tour, and it’s a double zip! You get to race a friend to the finish. Our 32 foot Climbing Wall will take you above the ground for a bird’s eye view of our spectacular Columbia Valley. It can accommodate up to three climbers at once and offers opportunities for both children and adults to build character, confidence and self-esteem, and have fun while they do it! We use 3 mechanically operated auto-belays that move with you as your head up the wall. Face your fear of heights with our new 35 Jump Tower. Climb up 35 feet and step off the edge with this new and exciting attraction. We use the QuickJump Free Fall device which gives jumpers a thrilling free fall experience before softly catching you and lowering you to the ground. **Height and Weight Restriction Apply**
Horseback Riding & Ranches
With the combination of our fantastic horses, fun, knowledgeable, personable guides/wranglers, small or big groups, and the stunning beauty of the scenery, what more can one ask for? Our guests have a passion for horses, want to be out with nature, and have an adventurous side. It is the excitement of crossing a river, riding “the man from snowy river,” going thru old growth, river bottoms, crossing slides and alpine meadows, just riding in the mountains and doing it with a strong animal beneath you. The views are spectacular! We also offer pack trips, cabin rentals, and fishing trips. Must call or email for directions. Do NOT drive to our house please. The map is not able to match where the rides are which are in the mountains of the St. Marys.
