Driediger Farms has been your destination for delicious BC Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries and Red Currants since the 1960’s. Although our farm has grown over the years we continue to bring our community the best of BC berries, both in our market and from our upick fields. Driediger Farms is located on 72nd St in Langley BC, just 5 minutes off Highway 1, making it an easy stop when you are heading in or out of town and a convenient local market for your daily needs.
Open from the last weekend in April to the last weekend in September this Farmers’ Market offers a unique experience of a permenant outdoor marketplace including vendor booths, a food barn, a bandshell for local music and a miniature train that runs during the Sunday market. You will find fresh, local, organically grown produce, meats and eggs as well as fresh baking and preserves. There’s plenty of ready to eat food to keep you satisfied as you listen to live music, enjoy local craftspeople and relax around the stage or the children’s sandbox. For a relaxing experience to help you get a good sense of what Powell River community feels like, join us from May-Sept on Saturdays from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm and Sundays from 12:30 pm – 2:30pm at 4365 McLeod Road. Plenty of parking available including 10 handicap spots close to the entrance.

A Working Destination Farm open year round in the Fraser Valley. From January to May, the family friendly Estate Winery is open Friday to Sunday 10am – 4pm. The Market & Bakery are closed till May, but frozen pies, berries & preserves are available in the winery. In the Summer enjoy our family friendly u-pick fields, Market, Bakery, Porch, fresh hot berry waffles served daily till 3pm. Saddle up in the Estate Winery for a taste of our award winning wines or a farm style menu created with the foods we grow and harvest. Fall we are open 5 days a week with a upick pumpkin patch, living barley maze and delicious pumpkin waffles. In November we get ready for the holiays and offer traditional baking along with all your farm favourites. The Market is filled with great gift ideas, stocking stuffers, preserves and our eco locally filled gift boxes. Eagle Acres Dairy & Pumpkin Patch is a family farm located near historic Fort Langley BC that is open year round for visitors to Milk a Cow by hand, feed the cows and calves and learn about the Canadian Dairy Industry in an interactive guided 75-90 minute tour. The farm also offers visitors the chance to visit many other farm animals. Visit in October for our LegenDairy Pumpkin Patch experience. Drop in and choose a pumpkin from a field beside the cows on pasture or take a hayride to the field next to the forest to search for your jack’o’lantern there. Tugwell Creek Honey Farm and Meadery was liscenced in 2003 as the first Meadery in Western Canada. At our oceanside honeyfarm we hand craft the highest quality Meads (Honey Wines) from local honey. Meadmaker Bob Liptrot has kept bees since the age of 6 and has been making mead for over 35 years. Come taste our award winning meads and honey. In 2014 we became the new Economusee on Vancouver Island. Tugwell now boasts a museum quality exhibit, interactive displays, and a self guided audio tour. Located in Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, 10 minutes drive from Duncan, Cowichan Valley Hostel is a free range, organic functioning hobby farm with emus, pigs, rabbits and more. Free WiFi is provided on site. All guests share a full size kitchen and bathroom, common area and household facility. Our beautiful and rustic 1890’s home, still a working farmhouse, is situated on a fifty acre organic farm, approximately 2km from the ferry. Our home was restored last in the 1970’s keeping as much original character and charm as was possible. The evidence of its long and diverse history emanates from every room. We offer four unique guest rooms, a library, large common rooms and a breakfast sunroom for vacation getaways or longer stays. Our wholesome, gourmet breakfasts are homemade using local produce; with some ingredients coming straight off the farm.The driveway is lined with Maple, Linden, Hawthorne, Walnut Trees and century-old Lombardy Poplars for almost a furlong and the house itself is nestled amongst Orchards, Flowers, Scented Lindens, and more. A wide veranda overlooking the orchard stretches along the length of the house; an ideal environment for reading, relaxing, and/or bird-watching. Also on the property are short hikes, a pond and private beach, suited for kayak launching or sun bathing.

Winemaker Gene Covert is a 3rd generation farmer who worked this land with his father and grandfather. We craft our estate wines with minimal intervention, using natural fermentation when possible to focus on vineyard and fruit.
