Vancouvers old houses and the stories of the people who built and lived in them are my passion. My History Walks through Vancouvers four oldest heritage neighbourhoods: the East End/Strathcona, West End, Mount Pleasant, and Grandview, are a culmination of over two decades working as a house genealogist. During that time I produced in-depth histories of over 800 Vancouver houses. People call me the House Whisperer. My blog, When An Old House Whispers is followed by people in over 70 countries world wide. If you like walking through and photographing historic neighbourhoods, if you ever wanted to time travel, if you are curious to uncover the mysteries hidden behind the doors of old houses, if you have an ear for old-timers stories, my History Walks are for you! Each tour lasts 2.5 to 3 hours. Check my website for the content, cost, departure times and locations of my scheduled tours. E-mail me if you would like more info or to book a private tour in English, Italian or Japanese.
