<br>SeaView Getaway- Luxury Vacation Home on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Sechelt, BC.<br><br>Amazing location, this 2 bedroom vacation home with a beautiful view of the Trail Islands, is situated on 1.3 acres and was fully renovated for contemporary living in 2022.<br><br>Escape to the Sunshine Coast, one of the most beautiful destinations on Earth and experience it all from a property just as Spectacular.<br><br>Separate & Private, this self-contained, self-catered home is surrounded by enchanted forest and ocean views. Nestled in an oasis surrounded by the zen feeling of wild flowers, herb gardens, exotic eagles flying overhead, enchanted forest right in your backyard, forest swings, calming hot tub, fun outdoor shower, laser tag, and more.<br><br>Our Story<br>At SeaView Getaway, we believe that travel is more than just a destination – it's a journey. Our family-owned B&B was founded on the principles of hospitality, warmth, and community, and we strive to make each and every guest feel like a part of our family<br><br>Family and pet friendly.<br><br>Fully equipped kitchen, for your cooking needs, fresh local eggs and homemade gluten free bread (when available) and many local treats will be waiting for you, along with a variety of spices, keurig coffee, cream, sugar, green tea and more.<br><br>Plus a wine cooler to keep your beverages cold, full size microwave, full size glass top stove and a fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, garburator, washer and dryer and an outdoor clothesline. <br><br>Two very cozy bedrooms- one with bunk beds, with a slide to come down <br>( side stairs included ), plus two very comfortable housecoats and slippers.<br>The second bedroom "the White room", has a very comfy Queen size bed and two very cozy housecoats and slippers.<br>The third bed is a very comfy sofa couch (upon request only)<br><br>Amazing outdoor atmosphere, soak in your delicious hot tub while you watch the tide roll in and out. It's so quiet at night all you will hear are forest sounds, close your blackout curtains and remember what it's like to sleep in complete silence.<br>The Ocean views from inside every window are fabulous, calming and exciting all at the same time.<br> Watch for the Cruise Ships that go by in the evening, on their way to Alaska, slowing down the ship in front of the trail islands, so the passengers can view the amazing sunset.<br><br>(Small friendly pets allowed, call ahead for approval.) (No aggressive dogs, as we have pets on the property)<br>Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds.<br>For our Pet lover guests, there is a lovely "off leash dog park", just two blocks from us. It's called "Lynnwood Park" and if you're into it, go to the end of the park and you will see the most fabulous creek running through it. Wear your hiking boots. See the pictures of the creek on the website.<br><br>(NEW in 2023 – new stainless steel double door fridge with ice maker, new glass top stove and new LG washer and dryer, plus for sanitary reasons a touch-less kitchen sink)<br><br>We know that water can sometimes be an issue on the Sunshine Coast, however, our property can be very self-sufficient, as we have our own self-contained rainwater harvesting system, and grow lots of our own food or buy locally. We have lived on the Sunshine Coast for decades and know most of the locals and hot spots, so please feel free to ask us any questions or concerns that we can help you with.<br><br>SeaView Getaway gets a deep sanitising clean, in between guests, <br>we ask that you kindly leave a Light Footprint.<br><br>Smoking is allowed only in designated areas around the outdoor fire pit, plus we have butt buckets, please be a responsible smoker and pick up your butts. <br>Be especially cautious in the hot weather.<br><br>Check with Hosts before having an outdoor fire.<br><br>Please abide by the posted rules and regulations and respect the forest around you. Please never take anything out of the forest.<br><br>Kindly do not use candles/incense at any time. ( no mosquitoes here)<br><br>Please NO cooking foods with excessive odour in the home,(like fish,spicy foods,bacon etc.), kindly use the outdoor gas BBQ for that.<br><br>For your safety there is a fire extinguisher & fire blanket under the kitchen sink. <br>First aid kits are in the bathroom drawer.<br>There is also a carbon monoxide and smoke detector in the home.<br><br>Getting there – right up Mason rd to the Canadian Flag.<br>Go up the driveway, all the way to the top (keep to the left) – there is plenty of parking. Your hosts – Jim and Kathy will direct larger vehicles for parking.<br>Guest will enjoy the entire house approx.(1000 sq ft), large gated wrap-around deck, private backyard, gardens, forest and privacy. <br>Parking for two to three vehicles.
