The Steveston Museum offers a glimpse into the past of this historic village. The museums building was built in 1905 as Stevestons first bank. Today, discover the people and moments that shaped Steveston Village. Continue into the Japanese Fishermens Benevolent Society building to discover exhibits that explore the good and bad times experienced by the local Japanese Canadian community. Inside the Steveston Museum, you will also the Steveston Post Office. Please note, for Summer 2021, the Japanese Fishermen’s Benevolent Society building is open as well as the Post Office. The Museum exhibits and Visitor Centre are closed.
