The 2013 Pride Parade travels through the downtown core, along Denman Street & ends at Sunset Beach Festival site. The parade entries include colourful floats, musical marching bands, community groups and 650,000 spectators. Pride takes over the streets & rainbows fill our city at the largest one day event in Vancouver. This is the must-see event of the summer! Best of the West is an event where West Vancouver will be celebrating BC's best (timely with BC day). There will be 13 participating wineries and 13 participating restaurants. The restaurant will be in charge of creating a dish to go with the wine given by the winery. There will also be a competition that night. The guests will be asked to choose the best food and wine pairing of the evening. There will be a draw from the people who entered their vote. The winning person will receive a gift certificate from the winning restaurant for $100.
