Ziplining & Bungee Jumping

The harbourside city of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island is home to the first bungee jumping operation in North America.

WildPlay Nanaimo has seen more than 210,000 people jump from the park’s 46m/150ft bridge high above the Nanaimo River.

Vancouver Island has lots of variety for ziplining. In addition to bungee jumping, WildPlay Nanaimo offers ziplining, a giant swing and a tree-tops obstacle course, and WildPlay West Shore Victoria features ziplining as part of its tree-tops adventure.

In Sooke, Adrena LINE Zipline Adventure Tours is set in a coastal forest and has eight ziplines (try night zipping for an added thrill). Strathcona Park Lodge (near Campbell River) includes ziplining as part of its schedule of adventures.
