Golfing is a year-round activity with three local courses offering a variety of challenge levels.
Abbotsford also has the area's only virtual golf centre and is within a short drive to courses at Harrison Mills and in Chilliwack.
Fraser Glen Golf Course
A fun and challenging mid-length, 18-hole course, Fraser Glen Golf Course's flat, tree-lined fairways are easy to walk for golfers of all ages. Be warned, though, it has a fair share of bunkers. The two-level practice area has 40 heated stalls as well as lights for night practice. There is also a putting green, chipping green and two sand bunkers for practicing short-outs to the long approach.
Ledgeview Golf & Country Club
Located on the north side of Sumas Mountain, this 6,131 yard, par 70 championship course offers panoramic valley views to the west and of the Coast Mountains to the North.

Designed by Les Furber, the rolling fairways of Ledgeview Golf & Country Club present a challenging layout; the toughest hole is number eight, a par three stretch that plays downhill for 216 yards to a narrow green, protected by sand and water.
Valley Golf Centre
The nine-hole executive course at Valley Golf Centre appeals to all levels of golfers. Although the gentle layout includes four par 4s and five par 3s, it's geared to use every club in the bag. Greens are well tended and views of the surrounding landscape make this a small gem of a place.
