Whistler Blackcomb is a hiking and mountain biking paradise. The resort offers easy access to some of the most spectacular hiking on the continent for trekkers of every ability.
Trails of all lengths wind past waterfalls, lakes and meadows awash in alpine flowers with panoramic vistas of the surrounding area. The resort also lies in close proximity to the rugged yet magnificent backcountry treks of Garibaldi Provincial Park.
As for riding, this is one of North America’s top mountain biking destinations: the Whistler Bike Park is the continent’s largest, offering a vast terrain for mountain bikers of all abilities that consists more than 200km/124mi of lift-serviced trails. The paved, low-grade Valley Trails winds through Whistler Village and the surrounding valley, ideal for novices and families, while more adventurous riders can opt for guided heli-biking.
