Highlight Raft Experiences
In the Squamish River watershed, not only will visitors find adventures that range from calm family floats to wild water adrenalin, but there are also great chances to view wildlife, forests, and mountains. Both the lower Mamquam and lower Cheakamus Rivers generally offer mild conditions that suit novice rafters.
For more advanced rafters, the locals recommend the whitewater excitement of the Upper Elaho, Squamish, and Ashlu Rivers. Difficulty ratings range from Class II to Class IV. Paddle through holes, fast water, standing waves, and rapids like the famous "Devil's Elbow" stretch.
