Invermere MusicFest - A Waterfront Music Festival.
Columbia Valley Arts Council hosts an annual outdoor waterfront music festival on the shores of Lake Windermere on Sunday August 3rd. With the stage & festival grounds set at Kinsmen Beach Greenspace with Lake Windermere as a backdrop, the Invermere MusicFest is a memorable, entertaining & edgy musical experience.
Arrowhead Brewery is operating the beer garden, with the MusicFest Food Village offering a variety of reasonable priced international food & refreshments on site for sale. The seating set-up is festival style, bring your own seating & blankets!
The music line-up will be confirmed in 2014. The main stage will feature up to 6 bands & acts.

The Festival is designed to attract classical guitarists for a week of master classes, private instruction, ensemble playing and workshops culminating in a Saturday afternoon performance showcasing what has been accomplished during the week.
Canada's leading classical guitarist, Daniel Bolshoy, returns, and also pleased to announce that San Francisco Conservatory's Marc Teicholz will also join the faculty.
There will be public concerts throughout the week featuring Bolshoy, Teicholz and Deane with a few surprises. A final concert by all participants takes place on Saturday afternoon, August 16, 2:00 pm at St. Andrew's United Church.
