7th Annual Elko Country Festival of Entertainers; music, humour, poetry and story tellers. 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm performances at the Elko Community Hall with full buffet dinner at 5:15 pm. Saturday Jamm session and social evening 9:00 pm-12 midnight. Pancake breakfast on Sunday 9:00 am-11:00 am followed by Cowboy (Entertainment) Church. Golden Sound Festival line-up is 16 hours (12pm - 4am) of high energy on your feet dancing to continuous stage performances. Nestled in the Columbia Valley at the base of the Rocky Mountains as they tower above; and just steps from the meandering Columbia River sets the stage for a fantastic music experience. The festival focus is to feature live music acts from the Western Canadian rock, funk, indi rock genres.
