Transportation & Maps
The most practical way to experience Cache Creek and the surrounding area is by car or RV.
Driving along the Lakes & Trails Circle Route is also visually rewarding. However, public transportation is also an option.
Cache Creek is located at the junction of Highway 97 and the Trans-Canada Highway 1, some 193km/121mi north of Hope, 15km/10mi north of Ashcroft, and 84km/53mi west of Kamloops. Driving from the east, take the Trans-Canada Highway from Kamloops; from the west coast take the Trans-Canada throughout the Fraser Canyon (360km/223mi) or the Coquihalla Highway through Kamloops. Car rentals are available in Kamloops.
Greyhound bus provides daily service from Cache Creek to Vancouver, Kamloops, and other locations north and east. Also, VIA Rail operates between Vancouver and Ashcroft, and from Edmonton/Calgary, Alberta.
