Verano 2013 is a two day exhibition and sale of works by some of the best artisans in the Okanagan Valley. The show and sale of handmade works by creative professional metal sculptors, silversmiths, painters, fabric artists, clay sculptors will be held at the farmers' market garden space in downtown Osoyoos, after the August long weekend. Public general admission to the show is free.

The Crawl is a two day event showcasing the vibrant, established and dynamic community of New West. With over 20 venues promising opportunities to meet artists in their studios and go to galleries, coffee shops, and parks; all displaying works of art designed, created, crafted and dreamt up by local residents.

The Originals Only Art Show & Sale was created as an opportunity for visual artists working at all levels to learn from each other and provide them with a venue so that they can showcase their work. The focus of the show is to present original works of art to the general public. Participants are restricted to traditional art forms of paintings, drawings and sculpture. All artwork at the show is original and created by the artist who is present in the booth during the entire show.

The streets of Downtown Langley come alive with over 100 participants including the fine arts, artisans and crafters, a multicultural venue and an exciting children's activity area. For one day only each year, the Creston Museum gets covered in quilts! Antique quilts, modern quilts, and everything in between, all on display in the Museum's exhibit galleries. Some of the quilts are from the Museum's collection; many are on loan from local quilters. Some of them are even for sale. The display is different every year, and every year we have at least 100 quilts and quilted items on display. The Quilts for Kids quilters are on site and working, with refreshments and quilt blocks for sale.

The 8th annual Quadra Island Paint Out happens with the support of Firesign Art & Design and the Heriot Bay Inn, in conjunction with the International Plein Air Painters (IPAP) & the 11th Great Worldwide Paint Out.

On the Saturday, artists will paint at various locations at Rebecca Spit Provincial Park.

On the Sunday afternoon there will be an exhibit of the weekend's work & a reception at the Heriot Bay Inn. The public is invited to view the art & meet the artists.

This event is happening simultaneously around the world as part of the 11th Great Worldwide Paint Out.

The 8th Annual Quadra Island Paint Out 2013 happens on the second Saturday and Sunday in September with the support of Firesign Art & Design and the Heriot Bay Inn in conjunction with the International Plein Air Painters (IPAP) 11th Great Worldwide Paint Out.

On Saturday, September 14, artists will paint at Rebecca Spit Provincial Parkat various locations. On Sunday, September 15, at 3:00 pm there will be an exhibit of the weekend's work and a reception at the Heriot Bay Inn. The public is invited to view the art and meet the artists.

Parksville Lioness Xmas Craft Fair. 5 hourly draws - 80 crafters throught the Main Hall - Foyer - Stage - Arbutus & Gary Oak rooms There are a wide variety of crafts to suit everyone's need from Pottery - Jewellery- Knits & Crochets - Baking - Jams & Jellies - Woodturning - Ironworks - Quilting just to name a few. Hot home made lunch prepared & served by the Lioness & Volunteers in the Cedar Room Dining area. All monies raised go toward supporting the many charities the Lioness support locally.
