Myth is the manifestation in symbolic meanings, metaphorical images and the explanation of life energy in all living things. Classically trained painter and sculptor Evie Katevatis attempts to breathe life into the more obscure characters and stories of Greco-Roman mythology through dream-like images. The show runs at Il Museo: Italian Cultural Centre, 10:00 am-5:00 pm.

With more than 42,000 entries from 96 countries, this exhibition celebrates the beauty and magnificence of the world in which we live, as well as acting as a stark reminder of the fragility of nature.

The striking exhibition features 100 large-scale, back-lit photographs that include some of the world's most respected nature photographers and wildlife experts.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is co-owned by the Natural History Museum, London, and BBC Worldwide.

In the exhibition 'PigaPicha!', the East African photo tradition is presented and documented as a chapter of its own in the international history of photography. 'PigaPicha!' highlights the history of portrait photography in Nairobi and gives a comprehensive overview of this form of urban culture, which is one of the most creative fields in modern East Africa. The exhibition is produced by Iwalewa-Haus and the Afrikaarchiv (DEVA) of the University of Bayreuth, Germany. Join us for a special opening party on November 25 at the Museum of Anthropology.
