The striking exhibition features 100 large-scale, back-lit photographs that include some of the world's most respected nature photographers and wildlife experts.

'PigaPicha!' highlights the history of portrait photography in Nairobi and gives a comprehensive overview of this form of urban culture, which is one of the most creative fields in modern East Africa. The exhibition is produced by Iwalewa-Haus and the Afrikaarchiv (DEVA) of the University of Bayreuth, Germany. Join us for a special opening party on November 25 at the Museum of Anthropology.

Victoria-based artist Robert Youds' light installation, For Everyone a Sunset, draws upon the architectural vernacular of downtown Vancouver. Youds references the urban surroundings by using their associated materials-aluminium framework, salvaged glass, LED lighting-to construct a sculptural query that creates a space for audiences to contemplate the urban experience.
