Every Sunday from Jun - Sep locals & visitors head to the Bella Coola Valley Farmers' Market located at the Quonset Hut on Hwy 20, 6 km east of Bella Coola, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. It's a chance to mingle with the locals, buy fresh produce, local honey & homemade goodies & get a sampling of the fine arts & crafts available in the Valley.

Triathlon sponsored by Pharmasave welcomes adults and kids ages 7 to 12 to participate. Adults: 750 m swim, 20 km bike and 5 km run starts at 9:30 am. Kids: 100 m swim, 6 km bike and 2 km run. Start time 8:30 am.

The Coquitlam Farmers' began in 1997 as a small summer market with a few vendors, and has grown to boast a weekly Sunday market from Mother's Day to Halloween; and a twice a month Winter market from November to March. Each week you will find a diverse mix of vendors, kids crafts, local entertainment, and strong involvement by community groups who provide education to the public on local programs and services. Located in historic Ladner Village, this 3 block long, open-air market runs rain or shine and has over 150 vendors from all over the southern province. Visitors will have a variety of fresh produce, meat, plants, garden art, handmade jewelry, soaps, furniture and crafts. They can also sample an array of food and beverages from restaurants and market vendors. Market is open 2 Sundays per month - check website for updates.
