Big White Ski Resort is a popular centre for cross-country skiing, which makes sense as the mountain is surrounded by captivating scenery.
This is a great sport to introduce to the whole family – another good reason to head to Big White, which welcomes families with open arms.
Cross-county Ski Trails
Big White offers 15 groomed trails at the base of the main skiing mountain. More than half of these trails are rated for advanced skiiers, but with 25km/16mi of tracks, beginners and advanced folks won't be left out - there is something for every free-heeler.

The nearby Kelowna Nordic Cross-Country Ski Club has 74km/46mi of groomed trails, and more than 80 percent are rated beginner or intermediate. The club’s 33 trails include short runs that can be linked together for an epic day. Those wanting to ski all day will appreciate the two warming huts with wood burning stoves.
