Set amongst lakeside beaches and rolling hillsides filled with peaceful orchards and vineyards, West Kelowna offers the perfect escape for those looking for a weekend of relaxation or outdoor adventure.

Known as “The Westside” by locals, West Kelowna  is located in the southern interior of the Okanagan Valley. Mount Boucherie, a volcano that is now dormant, helped create the area’s dramatic landscape and stunning vistas, while the volcanic soil primed the land to make it ideal for the orchards and vineyards. Some of the best and oldest wineries in the Okanagan can be found at the base of Mount Boucherie.

The Westbank First Nation has lived in the area for thousands of years. Their language is still taught in some of the local schools and their rich culture can be seen through signage, public art, a pit house and indigenous garden with traditional plants.
