An area landmark, the CPR Station opened in 1923 to serve a branch line of the historic Kettle Valley Railway that facilitated shipment of local perishable fruit and vegetables to Vancouver. This renovated historic building, located along Oliver's 18.8 km hike & bike path at the south end of Lions Park, now serves as the Visitor Centre.
