Ski in British Columbia: Six Mountains to Discover—or Rediscover—This Season
Here are six mountains to discover—or rediscover—in your own backyard.
Skiing and snowboarding in British Columbia looks different this year, but our love of the mountains still calls to us. Now more than ever, our desire for wide-open spaces, run after run of deep powder, and fresh tracks and even fresher air, inspires us to safely explore our backyard.
This season, social bubbles are small and awareness is heightened, but we can still feel a big-mountain rush at one of our 13 resorts. Change your scenery (and perspective) at a mountain close to home or discover a new ski-in/ski-out favourite further afield. Explore high-alpine basins, duck into newfound forested glades, and glide along roomy cruisers, then discover the snowy allure of a mountain town and enjoy a physically distanced après scene with peace of mind and warm satisfaction.
Breathe deep. Take it all in. And let winter move you.
