In summer, the focus shifts to hiking, golfing, mountain biking and fishing. Sun Peaks is also a micro-hub of foodie culture with food and wine festivals and fine dining onsite. Sun Peaks is just an hour from Kamloops. It is an ideal escape from the daily rigors of city life.

Winter Activities

Sun Peaks is a three-mountain resort with ski-in and ski-out accommodation. Winter activities include downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, dogsledding, snowshoeing and sleigh riding. Skiing with an Olympic gold medalist and World Cup Champion is also an option at Sun Peaks. Nancy Greene, 1968 Olympic Gold Medalist at Grenoble, France, and Canada's female athlete of the 20th century, often awaits skiers at the top of the Sunburst chair mid-station for group runs down various slopes.
