Exploring Vancouver Markets is an ideal way to spend a weekend evening. The markets are fun for all, offering everything from food trucks and live music to shopping and games for the kids. They’re also a great way to snag one-of-a-kind gifts, sample different foods, and join in the community celebrations. Here are three markets to visit.

On Friday evenings, Lower Lonsdale’s The Shipyards District transforms into a vibrant night market, with a focus on local menus and live music. Each week, 40+ food trucks and food vendors pepper the landscape while a craft beer garden (19+) quenches the thirst. You’ll find jewellery, clothing, kids wear, soaps, organic meats, honey, plants, chocolate, and other handmade products in the artisan market, inside The Pipe Shop building. Bonus: you can bring four-legged friends, so long as they’re on a leash.

Date: May 3-September 27, 2019
Time: Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
