Dining
Squamish has a reasonably diverse and tasty selection of privately operated and chain restaurants, pubs, cafes, coffee shops and lounges.
Mainstream pizza and burger joints are easy to find along the Sea-to-Sky Highway (Highway 99) that passes through Squamish. Tantalus Road, a block east of the highway, features a cluster of ethnic restaurants, including Indian, Japanese, and Mexican.
Restaurants and Lounges
The Howe Sound Inn (37801 Cleveland Ave) is home to Squamish's signature microbrewery, offering eight beers year-round and five seasonal brews. The Garibaldi Honey Pale Ale won a gold medal at the 2007 North American Beer Awards. In the wood-paneled brewpub and lounge, quaff a beer and dine on yam fries or wild salmon spinach salad.

Coffee Houses
Notable local coffee shops include Galileo Coffee Company (173 Highway 99) in Britannia Beach, which roasts its own coffee beans, and Onatah Coffee (6-40437 Tantalus Rd), which displays the work of Squamish artists as well as providing lattes and grilled paninis.
