  • Jul 4, 2018: “We had a great experience here. Were upgraded to a bigger room so even more bigger fun. Good amenities, great views. Breakfast was best quality. Very friendly staff. You will not be disappointed here.”
  • Jul 3, 2018: “Service was wonderful. My sisters sun screen exploded all over her bag and the lovely hotel employee helped get all the lotion out! Great executive conference room for breakfast and desserts! Great location. Bed is comfy! Bathrooms are spa like. ”
  • Jul 1, 2018: “This hotel is immaculate! From our arrive and smooth check in process (the room was ready super early and we got upgraded to a beautiful water view). Room: loved the bedding and pillows. Have a terrific nights sleep every night. Be sure to put the fan on ON and turn the temp all the way to 65. You’ll need it while you sleep. The toiletries provided in room smelled amazing and had a luxurious feel. Dual shower head with good water pressure. Love how your light setting in the room can turn on from bedside table in one click of light switch. The TV can log you in to your Netflix if you want to relax and watch a movie! 2 complementary bottles of water a day in room. Illy espresso machine. The hair dryer is the only thing I would say brinfg your own. It’s a 1600 and tiny. Takes forever to dry your hair. JW Lounge: WOW! Incredible spread of breakfast and evening appetizers/desserts! Fresh squeezed juice blends available. Made to order cappuccinos/espressos. Free WiFi in the lounge. If you have kids the snacks are super fun too! Very impressed with the hospitality of this lounge. Best Marriott/Starwood lounge we have used! Parking:you can no longer validate parking via the casino. So your options are $45 valet per day or $40 self park. Self park is super easy and quick. There are elevators in the lobby that go straight to the lots. Casino: there’s a very nice/clean and smoke free casino attached to the hotel. Sign up for a players club card and eat $10 food credit and $10 free play the day of sign up! Elevators from the room go directly down to the casino. Also a lobby escalator entrance. Other notes: take the elevator to P6. There’s a nice fountain area (see pics) and you can check out the bar/lobby of th Douglas Hotel (attached. A Marriott signature property) and restaurant on this floor as well. Additional umbrellas available in the lobby on a rainy day besides the one in your room. Aqua bus short walk from hotel. Do not waste your money at Honey and Salt. Ironically the food is super bland and needs salt. ”
  • Jul 1, 2018: “breathtaking views, amazing hotel, stunning pictures, astounding landscape, very kind gentle and friendly people, extraordinary sightseeing, incredible experiences:seaplane tour, suspension bridge at kapilano, walking coal harbour, eating at top of vancouver restaurant and cardero's restaurant, shopping in water street near steam clock!!!”
  • Jun 27, 2018: “I was here for a conference and meeting, and brought my daughter with me. The concierge helped arrange a sitter service before my visit to arrive on the two days I needed care for her while I had meetings. Both times, they were able to have the sitter meet me and my daughter in the meeting room, and you could arrange to pay the bill through your room, which meant I didn’t have to track down cash. The food and beverage attendants in the meeting rooms were also awesome - anytime I had my daughter with me, they were great about asking if I needed anything extra, bringing me a high chair, or just bringing over something like a bowl of Cheerios without me asking. The guest room was spacious, bed comfortable, and the view of the water a source of entertainment for my toddler as she could see puppies being walked and boats. It was also quiet and the temperature controls worked well. The only slightly negative things are that it took forever to check in. Another couple and I arrived very late (technically really early in the morning as it was around 1am), and the bellhop eventually had to contact someone to get assistance checking both of us in as the one person at the desk was helping someone else and having issues. The bellhop did get us all cold bottled water, and then got our bags promptly up to our room right after we checked in, so that was much appreciated. The hotel restaurants aren’t kid friendly - the one off the lobby took forever to bring food, even when I just ordered a bowl of fruit for the kiddo to be brought out ahead of the other food to keep the toddler occupied and busy. Also, you can’t visit many of the restaurants with kids as most are off the casino floor, which I didn’t realize. ”
