Dining
In a small village that has been serving the tourist trade for almost a hundred years, it is no surprise to find more than a dozen restaurants.
What is surprising is that, in the 21st century, the primary-coloured symbols of North America's major fast food franchises are conspicuously absent. The only exception is the familiar Canadian logo of the Husky gas station, which has a friendly truckstop-type restaurant serving an all-day-breakfast.
European Cuisine
Radium Hot Springs' independent restaurant choices include a number of European options, including Hungarian, German and Austrian cuisine and, since this is a family destination, a good selection of child-friendly menus and environments.

On Main Street West, the Meet on Higher Ground coffee house serves up homemade soups and baked goods, and is a popular spot with locals.
Golf and Lunch
The past 20 years have seen new development in the form of golf courses and, more recently, large-scale condominium projects. Meeting this additional demand, the clubhouses of both Springs Golf Course and Radium Resort have restaurants that are open to the public on a seasonal basis.
Farther Afield
A 15-minute drive to Invermere adds the fine dining possibilities of Strand's Old House Restaurant or the Portabella Restaurant.
For more information on eating out in Radium Hot Springs, check with the Visitor Centre, 7556 Main Street East.
