Parks & Wilderness Areas
This idyllic park is located on the banks of the River Golden Dreams with one of the valley’s most magnificent views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. This park has something for everyone from a large playground area with a children’s water park, to tennis and basketball courts and ball diamonds. Meadow Park is located in Alpine Meadows behind Meadow Park Sports Centre.
Located above Whistler Village on the side of Blackcomb Mountain, the Whistler Sliding Centre is a world-class bobsleigh, skeleton and luge facility. Today, winter visitors can tick bobsleigh or skeleton off their bucket lists in the public sessions. The venue is also home to the BC Sliding Development Centre, which offers programming for all skill levels in bobsleigh, skeleton and luge. It is a National Training Centre and training venue for athletes from all over the world. The venue still hosts races for the elite of sliding athletes, upcoming highlights will be the Viessmann Luge World Cup (Nov/Dec) and the IBSF Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Championships (Feb/Mar). In summer, guests can participate in bobsleigh rides on wheels or join daily guided tours. Year-round, Olympic Sightseeing is available free of charge through a self-guided interpretive tour.

We specialise in trips that are out of the ordinary and take you to the places that are less visited and away from the mass market. Come with us and see what Squamish is really about.
