Since 1998 Big Canyon Rafting has been making memories happen, rafting down the rivers of the Cariboo-Chilcotin. The Big Creek Lodge was established in 1985, in the heart of the Chilcotin Country, a remote region in British Columbia, Canada. Under new management since 2019, Cindy & Tino are excited to share an authentic Wild West experience with new and familiar faces! The lodge is located approx. 2-hrs drive from Williams Lake Airport. Transfer is available – no rental car needed! We offer a full program of activities, including trail riding, cattle work, cattle drives, and round-ups, plus excellent fishing, wilderness hiking, lariat throwing and much more. When going for a trailride, we will ensure the “best fit”! All of the rooms and cabins at Big Creek Lodge have earned a Canada Selected “Four Star” Rating. The accommodation is in comfortable lodge rooms or private cabins, all with floor heating, hair dryer, private facilities and some with balcony/terrace. The home-style country kitchen serves lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner in a relaxed, family atmosphere.

Deluxe safari tents with with either king bed or two doubles. The camp is perched on a 450 foot deck 16 feet in the air above the water’s edge. Packages are all-inclusive with three chef-prepared meals daily, guided activities and grizzly bear, eagle and salmon watching in the autumn months. Fishing, hiking, biking, rafting, kayaking and wildlife viewing are included along with transfers.

The Bridge River Valley was one of the richest gold producing areas between 1930-1950, lots of amazing history to explore! Come and enjoy the open air site, pan for gold, sample homemade ice cream or shop at the local Artisan’s gallery for unique handmade wares. A Visitor Information Centre is also on-site.
