Golf is a passion in this part of the Kootenay Rockies, with Trickle Creek and two other 18-hole courses in the Kimberley area, and several other courses within easy driving distance.
Trickle Creek Golf Resort
In summer, conversations at Kimberley Alpine Resort's Trickle Creek Lodge tend to be about a perfect tee shot or sinking that really long putt.
The manicured fairways of Trickle Creek wind through the forest on sloping terrain between the ski resort and the City of Kimberley. This Les Furber-designed course has been rated one of the best resort courses in Canada by readers of SCOREGolf magazine.
Open May through October, Trickle Creek is off Gerry Sorensen Way.
For more information on golf courses in the area, contact the Kimberley Visitor Centre, located downtown, just east of the Platzl.
