Families have been skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding in Kimberley for decades.
Under the ownership of Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, an increasing number of out-of-towners are discovering Kimberley Alpine Resort and its family-friendly restaurants and hotels.
Skiing Terrain
The mountain offers a substantial 728ha/1,800ac of skiable terrain and a vertical drop of 751m/2,464ft – all serviced by a total of five lifts that rarely see a line-up. Almost two thirds of the resort's 80 runs are rated beginner or intermediate, making this is a great place to learn the art of skiing and a good place to take the kids.
Skiers and riders can choose to relax and enjoy the exquisite views across the Rocky Mountain Trench from the front side, or select an attention-demanding double-black diamond run on the back side.
