Spotted Lake in Osoyoos (Andrew Strain)
Part 1
Osoyoos - Keremeos

48.22 km - about 0 hours 36 min

Head west on Highway 3 from Osoyoos and find yourself in the Similkameen Valley. Check out Spotted Lake, an ecologically sensitive body of water so rich in minerals that when the water evaporates in the summer, spots form on the surface. Mount Kobau in the South Okanagan Grasslands features hiking trails that make you feel like you’re on top of the world.
Cawston and Keremeos are home to most of the Similkameen Valley’s wineries, with many tasting and touring options to choose from. Keremeos is also known as the Fruit Stand Capital of Canada, and as you drive through the produce-lined highway, you’ll understand why.

Cathedral Provincial Park (Stirl and Rae Photo)
Part 2
Cathedral Provincial Park

37.42 km - about 1 hours 28 min

For an authentic backcountry experience, take a trip into Cathedral Provincial Park and Protected Area. The park offers 360-degree views of mountain ranges on both sides of the border and is home to more than 80,000 ac (33,000 ha) of mountain wilderness and wildlife.

Bromley Rock Provincial Park (Darren Robinson)
Part 3
Bromley Rock Provincial Park

75.15 km - about 1 hours 52 min

Directly off Highway 3 en route to Princeton you’ll find Bromley Rock Provincial Park. A popular swimming hole is an ideal spot for cooling off during the dry Similkameen summer. A notable rock bluff acts as the focal point for the park, and campsites are located right along the Similkameen River.

Hedley (Darren Robinson)
Part 4
Princeton

21.47 km - about 0 hours 16 min

Follow the river toward Princeton, where you’ll find ample fishing, cycling, and hiking trails.

E.C. Manning Provincial Park (Seger Nelson)
Part 5
E.C. Manning Provincial Park

87.62 km - about 1 hours 5 min

You’ll find E.C. Manning Provincial Park just an hour from Princeton and bisected by Highway 3. Nestled in the Cascade Mountains, the park is home to five provincial campgrounds, a host of wilderness campsites, and Manning Park Resort. Whether you are in the mood to kayak, hike, or ski in the winter, Manning has an abundance of outdoor activities, flora, and fauna to enjoy. Be sure to head up to the Cascade Lookout for the mountain views.
