Fun for the whole family, and not to be missed. The fun runs from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm. A $5 donation for admission is kindly requested for anyone over 18. Customers can rest assured that they are supporting the local economy due to the fact that 80% of each vendor's wares must be made locally to be sold at this market. Nelson Ultimate Frisbee Association will be hosting its popular waterfront tournament on the last weekend of July in gorgeous Nelson, BC. We are hoping to accommodate 12 teams this year. Bids will be first come first serve, but with some preference placed on Interior and returning teams. Our intended level is A- to C+ with a focus on spirit, good times and new Ultimate communities. Fields are again at beautiful Lakeside Park on the shores of Kootenay Lake for easy bye and end of day swims.

Swim 1 km, bike 44 km and run 10 km.

The event continues to be for everyone from top-ranking amateurs to adult and youth participants who are entering for pure enjoyment.

We have an adult sprint course for people who are just breaking into the world of triathlon and team events ideal for family participation.

This year marks the 19th Annual Fat Tire Festival. This event takes place every year in memory of Cam Alexander, a friend and avid cyclist. He lost his life tragically while riding his bike 18 years ago. Cam, whose smile was only surpassed by his appetite, was loved and respected by us so much that it only seemed fit to throw a party for bicycles. A festival was called for. The Fat Tire Festival is now an annual event for kids from 2-72 to enjoy.
