Whistler Ziplining & Bungee Jumping
Whistler Bungee, Mike Crane/Tourism Whistler photo
Whistler boasts some of the world’s highest and longest ziplines, and offers stunning views of old-growth forests with trees up to 800 years old. There are two local operators: the centrally located Ziptrek Ecotours, and ZOOM Zip Lines at WildPlay Whistler, located at nearby Cougar Mountain (free shuttle service available from Whistler Village).
For the ultimate adrenaline rush, head to the Bungee Zone in Whistler, British Columbia's highest and most pristine year-round bungee jumping site. Set on a new pedestrian bridge, Whistler Bungee is one of two licensed bungee jumping spots in British Columbia.
Ziptrek Ecotours
Ziptrek offers 10 ziplines in total, divided into two 5-line tours. The gentler Bear Tour includes lines up to 335m/1,100ft; the steeper Eagle Tour includes lines up to 610m/2,000ft with a drop of more than 20 stories. Tours operate between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, high above Fitzsimmons Creek.

Looking for something a bit different? Try a Winter Twilight Zipline Tour and plunge through the darkness with only a headlamp. For the slightly less adventurous, there’s the Treetrek Tour. Traverse suspension bridges and forest boardwalks through the canopy, pausing at treetop viewing platforms.
WildPlay Whistler
WildPlay Whistler offers a thrilling aerial adventure course that involves scrambling from tree to tree via a number of different elements, including ziplines, bridges, swinging logs, rope swings and tightropes.
Travelling with family or friends? WildPlay’s ZOOM Zip Lines offers five dual ziplines, which means that two people can fly along side-by-side, each on their own line. The longest line is more than 457m/1,500ft long and 122m/400ft above the ground, and riders can reach speeds of up to 100km/60 mi per hour. Tours are just north of Whistler Village at scenic Cougar Mountain (free shuttle service available from Whistler Village).
Whistler Bungee
At Whistler Bungee, experience the beautiful wilderness of the Whistler Valley, nestled between old growth forests and rugged basalt column cliffs, as you free fall off the 46m/160 ft bridge. Choose your method of bungee jump – different cords can be used to give a faster, higher rebound or a softer, slower rebound. Visitors in wheelchairs are accommodated.
Practical Points and Safety
Age, weight, height and health restrictions vary by company, so be sure to check in advance, especially when travelling with children. Ziplines in British Columbia are licensed by the BC Safety Authority.
