Summer
Summer in Whistler is pleasantly warm. Temperatures reach an average daily high and low of 23º C and 9º C respectively. These are ideal weather conditions for pursuing outdoor adventures such as hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking and camping.
Autumn
By late October, daily lows in Whistler Village dip below freezing. November is the resort's wettest month, while Whistler and Blackcomb mountains receive their first heavy snowfalls around this time.
Winter
Wrap up warmly if you're headed to Whistler as average daily temperatures in Whistler Village range between -6 and 0º C. On the summits of Whistler or Blackcomb mountains, the temperature (combined with wind chill) will typically be colder.
What to Wear
Summer temperatures are warm enough for t-shirts and shorts, although pants and sweaters are useful for the evenings, as the temperature can dip. A wind jacket will also come in handy.
In winter, pack wind-and-water-resistant winter wear, including a warm coat or jacket, gloves or mittens, a scarf and hat. Jackets and vests made from micro-fleece and light-weight down are a popular layering choice for many of the locals during this season.
