Early Music Vancouver presents J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio - Cantatas 1, 3, 6. This iconic programme and annual tradition will see four esteemed soloists, a 28-piece baroque orchestra, and the Early Music Vancouver Vocal Ensemble join together to fill the beautiful concert hall with sublime, festive sounds. Carousel Theatre for Young People presents the uplifting musical adaptation of a classic Roald Dahl tale - James and the Giant Peach, at Granville Island's Waterfront Theatre. Enchanting lyrics from Tony-nominated songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul animate the story of young James Trotter who discovers a magical giant peach inhabited by fantastical creatures. From Director Carole Higgins with choreography by Kayla Dunbar, this heartwarming musical will be brought to life by a cast of local luminaries, including Patti Allan, Scott Bellis, Kaylee Harwood, Jonathan Winsby and Deb Williams.
