The 2014 Pride Parade travels through the downtown core, along Denman Street & ends at Sunset Beach Festival site. The parade entries include colourful floats, musical marching bands, community groups & 650,000 spectators. Pride takes over the streets & rainbows fill our city at the largest one day event in Vancouver. This is the must-see event of the summer! Celebrations continue during & after the Parade at the Sunset Beach Pride Festival. Join us in the park, listen to live music & enjoy the headliners on the Festival Stage. The 41st annual Chariot Festival of India also known Jagannath Rath Yatra is taking place in Downtown Vancouver. This colourful and fun-filled cultural parade starts at 11:30 am from Beach avenue at Howe St. (under the Granville St Bridge) and travelling along Beach avenue culminates at Stanley Park 2nd Beach 1:00 pm.

Featuring: Entertainment on 2 stages, music & dance, live theatre, Mendi hand tattoos, yoga & meditation, face painting, veggie-cooking demos, clowns & balloon artists, free feasting for 10,000, kids fun tents & a market bazaar.
