Open year-round and located conveniently in the downtown core in Tumbler Ridge, the Visitor Information Centre is an ideal meeting place for visitors. Knowledgeable counsellors provide information on 47 hiking trails, 30 waterfalls, outdoor, back-country wilderness recreation and trips to our world famous dinosaur trackways. Tumbler Ridge is an outdoor adventurer's playground with exciting riverboat tours, ice climbing, snowmobiling, rock climbing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, swimming, ATVing, camping, fishing, wind turbine drives, museum tours, and much more all located in the area. Tumbler Ridge is located in the Tumbler Ridge UNESCO Global Geopark, one of only two geoparks in North America.
