The New Denver Visitor Centre overlooks Slocan Lake and is located in a historic building which housed the first Bank of Montreal in British Columbia but is now home to the Silvery Slocan Museum. While you're here, you can explore a large collection of local artifacts including a beautifully restored wooden boat. Please come visit us for area information and trip planning. The centre is also a great launching point to your visit to New Denver, a small, West Kootenay town of approximately 500 people. Located in the Slocan Valley across the lake from Valhalla Provincial Park and the New Denver Glacier, the views here are stunning. Come visit us for information about the area and assistance with trip planning.
