Victoria's natural bounty is what makes a visit so memorable. Few places on earth enjoy as much relatively untouched wilderness so near a major metropolitan centre. 

Go camping or hiking in a park, launch a kayak from the Inner Harbour to spot seals on the rocks, or wander through bright blooms in a garden. Whale watching tours leave from Victoria's harbour, and provide the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding waters and to look for Orcas (killer whales), sea lions, and other marine wildlife. Lagoons, lakes and parks in and near Victoria also make this a great spot for bird watching.
