Victoria's premier band performs new arrangements of classic rock and pop songs - all rich with vocal harmonies. Featuring vocalists Chelsea Kutyn, Jennifer Sanders, Timothy Kyle and Stan Davis - backed by a 3-piece band - the group performs hit songs from such artists as the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, the Fifth Dimension... and many others. Kicking off the 12th Annual Victoria Ska Festival will be a mystery band on Tuesday, July 5th at Ship Point (Inner Harbour), Victoria, BC. This will be the first of 3 FREE outdoor shows proudly presented by the Victoria BC Ska Society. A tightly woven, full production spectacle of music and movement, Pacific Tattoo2013 features marching bands, drill teams, massed pipes and drums, singers, dancers, and special skills demonstrations to honour police and fire fighting services. The Pacific Tattoo is the only annual international military tattoo on the west coast of North America.

Bands slated to play over the course of 2 days are Weezer, Sam Roberts Band, City & Colour, Matthew Good, The Sheepdogs, 54-40, Mother Mother, Awolnation Jimmy Eat World, Vince Vaccaro & more. Tickets go on sale March 22, 2013.

Victoria Symphony Splash is an annual Victoria Symphony event that takes place on a floating stage moored in Victoria's Inner Harbour. It includes musical entertainment, food, souvenirs & the evening's highlight: a live performance by the Victoria Symphony. Many people arrive early to ensure they have a good view of the barge for the orchestra performance at 7:30 pm. Kayakers & canoeists can moor their craft near the barge to listen to the music from the water. Donations accepted to support the Victoria Symphony.

The concert concludes with a performance of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, complete with bells, cannons, & fireworks.
