This year the Lions Clubs of Greater Victoria are proudly combining their forces to bring one of the most iconic & memorable events to the Saanich Fairground. Representing a colourful tradition & ceremony through the horse & scarlet uniform, the RCMP created a spectacle known around the world as the Musical Ride, providing Canadians from coast to coast with the opportunity to experience part of our heritage & national identity. Live entertainment. Come meet the horses & riders. All proceeds from this event supports BC Easter Seals Camp Campaign & Victoria Therapeutic Riding Associations. Over five days beginning Wednesday, September 11th, come and join in the building excitement downtown led by a renowned international 3D chalk artist who will create a 20 by 20ft 3D chalk art drawing at The Bay Centre's lower level, centre court. Then on Saturday and Sunday, September 14th & 15th, the 3D artist's efforts will be complemented by a two-day chalk art exposition on streets across downtown Victoria! Both international and local artists will present works on the pavement of Government Street, Broad Street and in Spirit Square.
