COBRA offers 3 routes through some of the Okanagan's most scenic rural farmland, 14 km, 56 km & 100 km. All rides start & finish at Memorial Park in Armstrong. We provide great volunteers, food & refreshments on route. Since it's beginning in 1999, participation has grown to where entry must now be limited to 400 participants to ensure the event remains successful and does not exceed limitations of the area's infrastructure. The Annual Lumby Air Races are being held June 8 - 10t, h 2012 for Hang Gliders & Paragliders. This will be a fun filled event with multiple flights allowable per open window. 2 classes for Hang Gliders & Paragliders.

Teams from across Western Canada join together to race in this event. This year, the event will also be a fundraiser to help purchase local breast cancer diagnostic equipment. The event will include 500 m sprint races for breast-cancer survivors, mixed, and women's teams. The boats will be supplied by the Go Rowing & Paddling Association of Canada (GO), a charity dedicated to increasing access and sharing the benefits of sport, particularly rowing and paddling, with Canadians of all ages and athletic abilities.
