Vancouver Canucks
Canadians love hockey, and Vancouverites are particularly passionate about the Vancouver Canucks, the city's National Hockey League team. The Canucks play 42 regular season home games as well as exhibition and playoff games, and they're all usually sell-outs. The Canucks' home arena is Rogers Arena, and the season runs from October to April.
BC Lions
Fans roar for the BC Lions, Vancouver's professional football team. As part of the Canadian Football League, the Lions play eight regular season games at home. The Grey Cup, Canada's Super Bowl, is held each November at a CFL venue selected in advance. The BC Lions' home field is BC Place, and the season runs from June to November.

Part of the Western Hockey League (WHL), the Vancouver Giants boasts a line-up of talented junior players destined to be tomorrow's National Hockey League (NHL) stars. Cheer them on at the Pacific Coliseum from September to April.
Vancouver Canadians
The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club offers inexpensive, quality entertainment for baseball fans of all ages. A Single-A team and Northwest League affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, the Canadians play 38 home games in a season, from June to September, at Nat Bailey Stadium.
Vancouver Whitecaps
The Vancouver Whitecaps, the city's professional soccer club, fields both a men's and a women's team. The men's team is a part of the North American Soccer league (NASL). The Whitecaps' 1979 win of the NASL Soccer Bowl Championship is credited with launching the city's proud soccer history. The Whitecaps' home field is BC Place (Bell Pitch downtown), and the season runs from March to September.
