The Boulders Climbing Gym in Central Saanich will play host to the top climbers in the country over the Victoria Day long weekend, during the 2013 Canadian National Climbing Championships.
The Canadian championships will feature the best youth climbers in the country, as well as a number from the United States, competing in a range of age categories in two disciplines: speed climbing and difficulty climbing.

This event involves running or walking 63.5 kilometres along a gravel logging road from Gold River to Tahsis on Vancouver Island - some of the most rugged & beautiful country in the world.
The walk is an annual fundraising event sponsored by the Tahsis Lions Club. Great Walkers have raised more than $1 million for worthy charities over the years.
There are 12 checkpoints along the way, offering refreshments, drinks, first aid & moral support!

Ahousaht Wild Side Heritage Trail The "Run the Wild Side" is back for the 2nd year, bigger and longer. Last year's run was such a success with the 5 km and 10 km runs that this year will include the 10 km and now a 22 km marathon.
Used by the Ahousaht people for thousands of years, the Wild Side Trail is an 11 km escape into the remote wilderness of Clayhoquot Sound. The trail winds its way through ancient Sitka forests and 9 pristine beaches. Ahousaht is accessible from Tofino by boat or air only.

This grass court tennis tournament is staged at the 126 year old South Cowichan Lawn Tennis Club.
Play starts on June 28 and finishes on July 1.
In the event of rain, indoor hard courts may be used.
Lawn tennis has been played at the club since 1887. It is one of the oldest lawn tennis clubs in the world and the oldest club in Canada still playing on grass.
This tournament is sanctioned by Tennis BC and is on the Tennis BC Senior Circuit.
