The Sip & Savour Salt Spring Festival brings together growers, food providers & chefs from the island & neighbouring Gulf Islands, Cowichan Valley & Saanich Peninsula, & partners them with BC vintners.
Salt Spring's known as Canada's organic capital. It's small family farms, artisan food providers & fishing community provide a bountiful harvest of fresh, delicious fruits & vegetables, breads & cheeses, free-range eggs, lamb, fresh crab, mussels & oysters, & in September, local sockeye salmon.
Events include winemaker's dinners, a grazing experience, a Saturday market, winery & farm tours, & opportunities to visit a spa or yoga studio, dine at any of the island's excellent restaurants & enjoy live entertainment.
