Vancouver Island's largest outdoor visual art event is a community outreach initiative featuring 180+ invited professional & emerging artists from Victoria & surrounding areas. Artists take their studios to the street to display & produce their work on Moss Street between Fort St & Dallas Rd. The Paint-In is a free & fun-filled community-based art awareness & education event that sees up to 35,000 visitors. Once again TD demonstrated its commitment to supporting the visual arts as the Paint-In's Title sponsor, backed by further support from the City of Victoria. This event allows local artists access to a receptive audience & encourages an appreciation of the arts among visitors. Over 200 volunteers & participating artists dedicate at least 4,000 hours to make this exceptional annual community event possible!

The Downtown Nanaimo Business Improvement Association present's the popular Bathtub Days Street Fair that will take over Commercial Street and Victoria Crescent on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday July 27. There will be live music, roving entertainment and acts on the street and on stage in Diana Krall Plaza, a pancake breakfast, craft and local food vendors, artists and a local business market and an import market, will stretch the length of Commercial Street. Victoria Crescent will also be closed to traffic to make way for a car show both days! Diana Krall Plaza will turn into a kid's fun zone and watch fabulous local talent on the entertainment stage. Friendly competitions; a watermelon eating contest, Nanaimo Bar bake-off and Waiters Race!
