Tofino Food and Wine Festival celebrates the marriage of food and wine, with the main event, Grazing in the Gardens, showcasing local culinary talents and British Columbia wines, in the beautiful Tofino Botanical Gardens.
Over the years, Grazing in the Gardens has supported several non profit organizations and initiatives, including Tofino Botanical Gardens Foundation, Community Children's Centre and Tofino's Community Garden, Wickaninnish School PAC Garden Revitalization, Lighthouse Trail and Multi Use Path (MUP).
It is truly a memorable weekend & a wonderful way to experience the west coast.

New Course Incorporates Wild Pacific Trail - less hills but more trial run! Maps available soon. The course will be off the main highway, with start and finish in Ucluelet. There will be road portions on a less travelled two-lane highway to Port Albion, followed by bike path and Wild Pacific Trial portions. The full course partially consists of hard packed gravel trail, and may not be for all running abilities.

The annual Multicultural Festival comes to the Old City Quarter on Saturday, June 14 bringing with it a variety of family-friendly activities, entertainment and, of course, fabulous food. Wesley Street will be closed to traffic so we can make way for the entertainment stages, vendors, displays, children's area and the international food tent. From 10:30am to 3:30pm the two entertainment stages will offer a variety of cultural and traditional music, song, dance and demonstrations. Join us at the international food fair for a taste of the exotic or browse the many vendors offering demonstrations, information and products from around the globe. The children's area will once again have the popular bouncy castles, face painting and crafts.

This is a 3 day event for mountain bikers. It is a fully catered weekend of food, guided rides in 3 amazing riding locations on the island, local beer and cider. The event is based out of transfer beach in Ladysmith but will bring participants to Cumberland, the Cowichan Valley and Nanaimo to ride.

Ahousaht Wild Side Heritage Trail: the "Run the Wild Side" is back for the 3rd year. Last year's run was such a success with the 10km and 22km runs that this year may include a 5km run.
Used by the Ahousaht people for thousands of years, the Wild Side Trail is an 11 km escape into the remote wilderness of Clayhoquot Sound. The trail winds its way through ancient Sitka forests and nine pristine beaches. Ahousaht is accessible from Tofino by boat or air only.
